Speedway racing. It’s fast. It’s loud. And it’s different! While this race in Los Angeles, CA seems like grass roots racing, believe it or not there is a Speedway Grand Prix that competes at the international level as well! While it may look easy, believe us it’s definitely not. Speedway racing is an entirely different skillset to track racing. But believe us when we say, it’s still amazingly fun! Big win last night for @kensei74racing where he managed to win all three of his speedway races and take home first place! Between school, national race events, and traveling overseas for international races, kids like Kensei are BUSY. And despite all that, he still manages to take home wins and do it all with a smile. Amazing speed difference! The first bike is actually a Moto3 bike while the second is a MotoGP bike. Both were filmed on the straight away and the speed difference is insane! While Moto3 speeds are significantly slower, it is nevertheless a very important stepping stone class into Moto2 and then subsequently Moto3. Nevertheless, a Moto3 bike can still reach speeds of 160mph, which is faster than a lot of production bikes!! It was a special weekend for them to have three bikes instead of two, and the garage was a busy place to say the least. Creepy or tranquil? You decide! The Silverstone Circuit actually has two paddock areas, this one called “The Wing” is actually the newest of the two. During this weekend’s MotoGP race it was left completely abandoned while MotoGP used the older but slightly larger garage area. And the best part? It’s completely open to the public!
